Can employers and jobseekers negotiate directly?
Yes, and employers also have the option to let us take care of the negotiation and hiring on their behalf through our white-glove services.
Can employers hire full-time employees, or is hiring limited to contracts only?
While our model based on trust and transparency sheds a new light on contracts, employers can also hire full-time employees directly through the Jobs n Gigs portal or use our white-glove services – enjoying the same benefits as with contracts.
How does Jobs n Gigs operate with only 5-18% markup?
The productivity of our white-glove services has quadrupled because of the technologies that we use: AI powered talent sourcing and matching algorithms, RPA for workflows, gamification to keep talent engaged, etc., which significantly reduced our costs to source, screen, and deploy great talent. Furthermore, our cost of sales has also significantly reduced because of the strong value proposition we offer to our customers.
We pass the bulk of the benefits from these trust and productivity efficiencies to our customers and talent. From the goodwill we gain from that, we are rewarded with volumes and long-term relationships.
How does Jobs n Gigs ensure quality?
We are able to attract good talent because they like the trust and transparency available only in our Jobs n Gigs marketplace, along with our extremely low markups which in most cases result in higher compensation for them.
Professionals on Jobs n Gigs not only feel respected for their talent and find suitably rewarding career prospects, but they also have opportunities to further improve their skills through learning and training resources.
We also use a balanced combination of technology and people, paired with online testing, process automation, etc., to help us ensure quality.
Is there a monthly subscription, an upfront fee, or any other cost to join Jobs n Gigs?
Not at all; creating an employer or jobseeker account to list your jobs and profile, respectively, is completely free.
What vetting/screening process does Jobs n Gigs use?
Jobs n Gigs performs at least basic level of background checks (if not more) of all jobseekers and employers.
We also provide an option for them to add their TS/SCI security and background checks, and also ask for all relevant information required to properly assess the background of candidates and employers which is reflected in their Trust Score on the platform. If they haven’t done so, employers can use their background-checking processes, and both, jobseekers and employers, can request us to do it for them for a small fee.
Can we find candidates without posting jobs on the platform?
Yes, of course! Employers can find ideal talent based on specified criteria or offload the activity to our white-glove services. However, we encourage employers to post their jobs to the marketplace so our AI-ML algorithms can also factor in “expressed interest” based on applications and find the best talent for the job.
What happens if a hired contractor does not perform well?
We offer a 90-day trial period to employers, within which they can report their concerns regarding hired professionals and get another talent replaced free of cost if the concerns are justified.
